Coffin is made up of Trevor Carr on lead vocals and guitar, Noah Boland on vocals and bass, and Jackson Mooris on drums. The new album was recorded, produced, and mastered by Nolan Perry in Santa Margarita, CA earlier this year.
Altered Season is a step forward from Coffin's last project "I" which dropped back in 2018. The heavy riffs and haunting vocal style are quite reminiscent of artists like EyeHateGod and Ty Segall, yet Coffin's unique tones and energy allows them to rise above underground obscurity. They've really made a name for themselves in the local community by hosting DIY house shows throughout California's Central Coast.
